We would recommend Birdsong Cottage for couples who wish to enjoy the beautiful market of town of Wimborne and surrounding countryside.  Just a short drive from your cottage you will find The National Trust estate of Kingston Lacey, where you can take afternoon tea and enjoy the extensive landscaped grounds.  For those that enjoy walking you can explore Badbury Rings where a monthly point to point race is held.

Within Wimborne itself you will find a traditional stage theatre with regular evening entertainment.  There is no shortage of dining options from exquisite restaurants to olde public houses.  The market town of famous for its the Minster and annual Folk Festival held in June.  The town is bordered by the River Stour which is a short walk away from your cottage.  Your stay will be within easy reach of Poole (15 mins), Bournemouth (25 mins) and Blandford (15mins).
