Tanglewood is a semi-detached Purbeck bungalow fully enclosed by a dry stone wall and large iron gates . It is situated in a picturesque position opposite woodlands and a few minutes walk from Durlston Country Park with its clifftop walks, interesting wildlife, globe, castle and lighthouse. Swanage town centre and beach are a ten minute walk away.The centrally heated bungalow has a lounge with French Doors leading to the relaxing garden. A colour television, video, DVD and stereo are provided. The dining room features a delightful wood burning stove set in stone fireplace and dining table for six. A high chair is also available.The fully tiled bathroom with quarry tile floor is fitted with corner bath with shower overhead, wash basin and w.c. There is an additional cloakroom with w.c. and wash basin. The master bedroom has a double bed (king size duvet & wash basin), the spacious second bedroom has three single beds (one child size).

Wonderful place as usual, what a shame to leave Tanglewood, we will be back!

ACCESS STATEMENT FOR TANGLEWOOD. DURLSTON ROAD, SWANAGE, DORSET, BH19 2HX.


Tanglewood is a semi-detached bungalow built in Purbeck stone with access to the front of the property.

Bookings to be arranged through Dorset Cottage Holidays on 01929 553443.

Off road parking is available at the front of the property for three cars.

The medium sized garden is enclosed by large iron gates at the front and a Purbeck dry stonewall elsewhere. Garden furniture is provided.

The front door, up one step opens in to the dining hall with seating for six around a refectory table, has doors off to the lounge, cloakroom/toilet, kitchen and inner hall. From the inner hall access is provided to the bathroom and two bedrooms.

The bungalow is fully carpeted except for the kitchen and bathroom, which have ceramic tiles.

The lounge has comfortable seating for five with good lighting. French doors open on to the garden. A flat screen television is provided with a video player and DVD also a radio/CD player and books for our guests to read.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hotplate, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Bedroom one has a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space and dressing table.

Bedroom two has two full sized single beds and one child’s bed in an alcove, also plenty of wardrobe space and a chair. Some toys and books for children are available.

A payphone is situated in the kitchen but mobile phone reception is not good.

Tanglewood is situated in a beautiful area with a gate to Durlston Country Park just across the road. It is a ten-minute walk down to the town and beach with good views from the downs.
