The Old Dairy is a lovely, brand new one bedroom cottage, all on one level, in the heart of the countryside near Lulworth Cove. A modern conversion of a lovely flint and brick barn, completely modernised with lovely hand made exposed beams. Entry is into a large open plan lounge with expansive kitchen and dining facilities. The modern bathroom lies next to the double bedroom.

The Old Dairy lies within a small hamlet of six or so cottages surrounded by open fields. You can enjoy lovely walks and a short drive will take you to the coast at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The Old Dairy is ideally located to explore the whole County, Monkey World is within 4 miles as is the Tank Museum at Bovington. The Isle of Purbeck, Dorchester and Weymouth are all within easy reach.

We very much enjoyed our time here and felt very privileged to be one of the very first guests to stay in the refurbished home.

It was nice to find flowers on the table, milk in the fridge and other touches that made our stay so pleasant.

Introduction

Our self-catering cottage stands on the site of the former milking parlour and is a single storey building.

Pre-Arrival

There is one allocated parking space at the cottage
The nearest train station is in Wool approx 2 miles away and taxis are usually available at the station.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

Luggage can be unloaded from the parking space at the front of the cottage
From the parking area, you approach the cottage down a paved pathway, which is on a very slight incline. There is one step up to the front door.

Main Entrance & Reception

From the front door you enter into the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area.
•The rear doors are tilt/sliding patio doors, which lead from the lounge area onto a patio via a small step. The bathroom (corner shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin) and bedroom are on the ground floor.
The bedroom floor is carpeted. The bathroom floor is non-slip vinyl and the kitchen/lounge is wood laminate.
