Sitting Room: 26 inch Freeview TV/ Radio with built-in DVD & CD player, dining table & chairs, two leather settees, wood-burner. Kitchen: Electric fan oven & halogen hob with extractor fan hood, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge (with small freezer compartment). 1st Floor bathroom: full suite with roll-top bath and shower cubicle. Garden: small courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ. Gas central heating. Free on-road parking available. Bed linen provided for all bookings.
Rambling Rose Cottage, built in 1756, offers a wealth of charm and original features over four floors and has been fully renovated to incorporate modern facilities and excellent décor whilst retaining the ambience of a character Purbeck stone cottage.
The cottage is ideally located - A short walk to the family-friendly sandy beaches and town centre amenities as well as several good pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops.
Swanage is the eastern gateway to Dorset’s World Heritage Jurassic Coast with many miles of footpaths and bridleways, making it the ideal place for exploring for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Swanage hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year, and is home to a wealth of attractions: from its award winning blue flag beach and Victorian Pier, to the beautiful countryside. The Swanage Railway, one of the best preserved standard gauge steam railways in the UK, runs from Swanage to Norden through the beautiful isle of Purbeck and passes close to the famous ruins of Corfe Castle. Nearby places to visit include Durlston Country Park, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Studland & Wareham. There are also good transport links to Poole and Bournemouth.
Rambling Rose Cottage does sleep six in three spacious bedrooms; however the facilities in the sitting room are more suited to four guests.
