Putlake Adventure FarmPutlake Adventure Farm.  We highly recommend this family day out, the adventure farm is aimed at younger children, children under 12 will love Putlake!  It is the only adventure farm and indoor soft play area in Swanage for up to 10 miles.  Putlake is based on a real working farm, with animals, tractor rides, outdoor play equipment, pedal Go-Karts, picnic areas, trampolines, birds, a pet centre & tearooms.  The farm boasts a new aviary this year and baby lambs in the spring.

Children love to feed the baby animals, which can be bottle fed.  After visiting all the animals and enjoying the outdoors you can dine in a lovely tea rooms, whilst the children enjoy the huge indoor soft play area.

Putlake Farm also offer party packages, so if you are on holiday for a little ones birthday, this could be a lovely surprise for them.

Moors Valley– Lovely day out and you only pay for the car park.  Woodland walk with themed climbing adventures, mini steam railway open through the season, excellent outdoor sandy play area.  Some areas welcome pets, you can bring a picnic or enjoy the café.  Only need to pay for car parking.

Go Ape– Adventure through an assault course high up in the trees.  I have done this and its great fun, not for those terrified of heights but for those of us who are a little scared, its perfect.  Fun zip lines and some easy routes.

Honeybrook Farm is a lovely adventure farm with pony rides, all the animals of the farm, tractor rides and excellent outdoor play area.  Bring a picnic or use the café.

Crown Court and Cells
Old Crown Courts and Cells- Shire Hall, contains the Georgian Crown Court and Cells which saw the trial of the Tolpuddle Martyrs in 1834, along with witnessing thousands of other trials until its closure in 1955.
