Higher Houghton farm is a working livery yard with some livestock surrounded by rolling countryside, and an endless network of footpaths to explore in an area designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty noted for its ancient bluebell woodland and downland forna. Both holiday homes offer spacious accommodation.

The farm is a short drive to the ancient village of Winterbourne Houghton with its 16th Century church and traditional pretty thatched cottages. Sandy beaches, county town of Dorchester, Georgian market town of Blandford are all within a ½ hour drive. The owners are happy to arrange horse riding or livery for your own horses.
