The open plan ground floor boasts Purbeck stone floor and a charming inglenook fireplace, home to a large log burning stove, stacked for your arrival. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with wrought iron double bed and ensuite bathroom. Stairs to a further bedroom on the second floor complete with twin beds and ensuite shower room (restricted head height) and glimpse views of the famous National Trust Corfe Castle.
The village of Kingston is an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic coastline, therefore it is certainly advisable to bring your walking boots! The Purbeck Way is easily accessible from the cottage taking you to Corfe Castle and Wareham or alternatively Worth Matravers and Ballard Down in Swanage.
A delightful pub and restaurant The Scott Arms, with views over Corfe Castle, is just a stone’s throw from Sweet Pea Cottage.
Please note as this is a period cottage the stairs, particularly to the second floor are steep.
