cottage oozes character and is set in the historic village of Tolpuddle famous because of the Tolpuddle Martyrs said to be the founders
of Trade Unionism. It is within easy reach of the coast at Lulworth, Osmington or Weymouth or indeed of the County Town of Dorchester
which has a good selection of shops, supermarkets and museums. Thomas Hardys Cottage is located close by.
The village is attractive and traditional, surrounded by beautiful English
countryside. A pub is located in the village. The village of Puddletown approx 2 miles away has a good village shop.
