This delightful little cottage is nestled in the beautiful Purbeck stone village of Corfe Castle. The cottage boasts views of the famous castle ruins; which are a short walk away. From your cottage you can explore the beautiful local countryside; walk through green meadows to the pretty village of Church Knowle and enjoy a meal at the recommended New Inn, go bird watching at Arne RSPB Reserve or simply cosy up in St Georges and relax. The village is home to good butcher and bakery, grocery store, museum, tea rooms, and several public houses. A walkers paradise due the variety of local landscapes; from the range of Purbeck hills, through river meadows and heathland to the breath-taking coastline. The nearest towns are the coastal seaside town of Swanage (can be reached by steam railway 5 miles) and the Saxon town of Wareham. Studland, with its wonderful sandy beach is also 5 miles away. For children the local play park is a short walk away.
