Coach House 50.683054, -2.114482 (Directions)

The Coach House is ideal for families. It has a suite style double bedroom and a generously sized twin room leading off; perfect for children wanting to be close by to their parents.

This fabulous holiday home boasts a private walled garden accessed via a stable door from the well-equipped country kitchen. Outside you will find a pretty patio along with a large lawned area with table tennis. Endless garden games can be enjoyed within this space. Through the double gates from the pretty garden, you will find a rare treat which may be enjoyed as much as you wish for the duration of your stay.  Set within a walled courtyard, just off the owners home, you will discover a beautiful outdoor heated pool! Large enough for an experienced swimmer, but also perfect for endless fun with the kids, you will find this rare feature a real luxury! The children will have hours of fun using the slide!

Wareham is a pretty and interesting town steeped in history,  famously invaded by the Vikings. The town has stood on the once important trade route of the River Frome for thousands of years.  The Saxon walls that surrounded and protected Wareham can still be seen today and guests can enjoy a guided tour in the summer months.  Within walking distance of the Coach House, you will find several good pubs and restaurants, as well as a two supermarkets. You can stroll into town for a morning coffee at one of several coffee shops. A delicious cooked breakfast with locally sourced produce is an absolute must at The Salt Pig. Be sure to pop back one lunchtime for a slice of their homemade cake - it's yet to be beaten! In the summer months, why not take a leisurely boat trip along the Frome? Or, for the romantic in you, why not try a rowing boat just for two? SUP is also available - head down to the stunning redcliffe and onto Arne nature reserve - recently featured on BBC Springwatch!

As The Coach House is pet friendly,  your four legged companions are sure to appreciate a well deserved holiday too! Within just a short stroll you will be on Wareham Common, grazed by cows and sometimes horses, you can walk down to the river which is a perfect paddling spot come rain or shine!

For something a little different and a step back in time, take a seat at the REX picture house - they even have a bar so you can snuggle up in the double seats with a glass of wine whilst watching your favourite film!

From the safe bathing waters of Swanage Bay to the picturesque Wareham Quay, we are proud to introduce you to the Isle of Purbeck. The beautiful countryside is blessed with pretty villages, churches and castles, testimony to its dramatic history.  Purbeck also has some of Britain's best and cleanest beaches. Studland is famous for its seahorses and goldens sands. The coastline is a mix of quiet tranquil beaches and jagged, Jurassic coastline; a turbulent geological past has bequeathed it a stunning shoreline. Walkers are drawn to the area, with spectacular views to be enjoyed along the now famous 'Jurassic Jaunt'.

You will find The Coach House a perfect retreat for exploring all Purbeck has to offer. Make fabulous memories in this stunning part of the world - what are you waiting for?

superb accomodation
This is a superb holiday house, within walking distance of Wareham centre. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean. It was in a quiet cul de sac. The owner was friendly and helpful and my granddaughters loved the pool. We had a lovely week there and can really recommend it.

Lovely week in Dorset
A pleasant and spacious holiday cottage with all the equipment you’ll ever need. It has a very nice private garden with seating to eat out in the sunshine and access to the owners’ swimming pool. The owners kindly prepared the pool for us, but sadly we didn’t use it, but it looks absolutely splendid. Wareham’s pubs and restaurants are just a five minute walk away. Brilliant weather capped a lovely week for us.

Perfect Location
Most important, very clean, comfortable and fully equipped accommodation. The hosts really had catered for everyone adults and children alike. Wendy provided a warm welcome on arrival to both us and Bentley (the dog). The sun shone and we were blessed with wonderful weather, however the wood burner provided a cosy end to the day. The inviting swimming pool (although out of season for our week) looked beautiful and certainly will provide endless hours of enjoyment for both young and old. Wareham offers everything you would need, local produce, bars, restaurants and most importantly a very warm welcome. The area is truly idyllic being just a short drive from Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Swanage (to name just a few). The Jurassic Coast's breathtaking scenery is an absolute joy, one that everyone should take the time to experience. The hosts were extremely helpful when we had to visit the local GP, they took the time to arrange everything and even looked after the dog, what more could we wish for. Sadly we had to cut the holiday short but we will be back, Dorset you are truly beautiful.

Clean, smart and comfortable
Lovely cottage in a very convenient location for Wareham town centre, and well positioned to visit other lovely areas. Big garden and what looked like an excellent swimming pool next door for the summer months. Be careful of the beams in the master bedroom!
