Perfect holiday base
Holly Lodge is a lovely small cottage, set in a rural location but with easy access to local attractions. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners were on hand to offer advice if required. Perfect pet friendly holiday let.

Exactly as advertised
Very friendly welcome. Cottage very clean and comfortable. weather a bit chilly but owner supplied logs and kindling and we lit woodburner. Lovely and warm. We could have turned central heating on but preferred the woodburner. Very good location only 5mins from Wareham Forest. excellent for our two dogs who loved their stay. Owner on hand to answer any queries. Would stay again.

Cosy cottage in countryside
Had a lovely week in this let. Central for lots of places to visit, grandchildren loved seeing donkeys there and also rabbits, birds and an owl in the lane. Varying wifi for anyone bothered about staying connected but we had a great week. Would book again.

Superb
Lovely location, friendly and approachable owners and accommodation which was first rate - comfortable and homely. The whole making the holiday a totally enjoyable experience.

Perfect home from home
After many years of visiting Dorset and using the same accommodation, that sadly closed own, we had minor trepidations about finding another equally great site but this turned out to be an absolutely fantastic cottage in a perfect peaceful location. Everything you need, plus more, is included in a well appointed and clean cottage. The owners have definitely put a lot of forethought into ensuring that a restful and perfect break is afforded here. A big thank you to the owner and the team. A minor problem on arrival with mix up on the booking was dealt with speedily and professionally. This is obviously not the norm and was only down to a personal tragedy in the owners home life. It definitely did NOT take anything from the break we had booked. The staff at Dorset Cottage Holidays are all professional and friendly too. So, if you want a real nice experience with peace and quiet in a real home from home then book with confidence....we will be back!!
