Bright , Airy, modern and well equipped
Very well presented holiday accommodation. Conveniently located about a 20 minute walk from central Swanage. Large upstairs living area with stylish modern furniture and all the necessary facilities for cooking, dining, drinking etc. The ultra modern furniture with sharp corners on chairs and glass table tops while no problem for adults we considered would not be totally child friendly. 2 minor negatives – no shaver point and the child gate at the top of the stairs was a trip hazard. Despite these downsides we enjoyed our stay there, would recommend it and would definitely use again if we return to Swanage.
Smith Family
Stylish holiday house at the top end of Swanage
Fantastic continental style modern house. Expansive dance floor of a living room and well equipped with all you could wish for. Twin room could do with more storage. The larger ensuite room appears to have all the drawers and many of them! Probably more set up for young families.Lovely first floor deck space, which added an additional al fresco dining option. We are regulars to Purbeck and this was our first time in Swanage. It was great to be close to shops and restaurants. About 20 mins stroll to the sea front. Can recommend The Globe around the corner, a super friendly pub with food and The Black Swan 5 mins towards town which has a very tasty food and lots of specials. Also loved the cocktail bar in the high street.
The Merry-Partridges
Beautiful holiday home
This was a beautifully furnished and equipped holiday home. The large decked area with shady table was particularly welcome. The design of the house was stunning with an amazing vaulted ceiling which made it feel very roomy. The area was quiet and peaceful. I would say it's more suited to adults than families with very young children. It took around 20 minutes to walk to the beach.

Spacious,light & comfortable
This was our third visit excellent place for a holiday. Just one point large bed rather hard & perhaps some new pillows otherwise all mod cons.
Mr.& Mrs. Eyre
A high standard of accommodation in a great location with everything you need.
Dovecote House is a well equipped spacious luxury holiday home about a mile from the seafront in Swanage. There is an open plan living area on the first floor, including a kitchen area with everything you need, leading out to a terrace with barbecue, where you can eat out on a sunny day.
Tim Hubbard
Overall very good and very comfortable, and well equipped.
Upstairs in the living quarters we could not fault it. There was more than enough room and more or less everything you needed. Downstairs there were one or two issues. The two main ones for us were the en suite shower and the main bedroom curtains. The en suite could do with redesigning. The shower cubicle door only partly opens before it hits the WC. Ideally the WC and the sink should swap places. With a smaller sink where the WC is at present the shower door should fully open. A corner WC would probably work giving you maximum space. The bedroom curtains were too transparent and at this time of year light floods into the room at a very early hour. Blackout blinds with the curtains would give guests the option. Overall though it is one of the better holiday accommodations we have used.

Clean ,modern as described.Well equipped
The accommodation is as described. Very well equipped with a small but well thought out welcome pack on arrival. The property is approx 800 yds to the clean beach and central for many attractions.

What a great place !
Superb, modern, well-equipped holiday home only a 15-minute easy walk to the front, in a quiet new-build development at the top of the High Street. Great to be able to leave the car in our own secure carport if we wanted. Also perfectly situated to join the Priests Way 6-mile circular walk at the top of the road - so again, no need to take the car. Great pub for food (the Black Swan) also an easy 10-minute stroll down High Street. Would definitlely come back.
Garry & Joy Woollaston
Very good quality accommodation
Lovely spacious light property upstairs. Well equipped spotlessly clean and comfortable with pretty much everything you could need. Bedrooms downstairs kept lovely and cool in the hot summer weather.

We loved the accommodation - we especially enjoyed the light, open plan, space upstairs with the adjoining deck area.

This house must rate as one of the best we have stayed. For a family weekend for a special celebration it had a real wow factor the moment we walked in. It was a wonderful place to spend time together and although we did not cook so well equipped . We would certainly want to return to enjoy the outdoor terrace and enjoy for longer.
