First Guests
The house is situated in a wonderful surrounding and has plenty of space for ten people. The whole house is decorated and furnished with love and thought, and we didn't miss anything. One thing we appreciated a lot was the second drawing room in the front of the house, since in a group of ten people there is always somebody, who needs a quiet minute for reading or watching TV. Everything in the house was very proper and the owners welcomed us with a card and a hamper, which was a very nice gesture. In our opinion there is nothing of importance, which could be improved. Actually we all would really love to come back soon. We were very happy that we found Wessex in the internet for our family reunion and can highly recommend this place to anybody. We thank you and the owners very much for having us as your first guests at Wessex.
Mr Schütz
Lovely place to stay
We had a fab week in Wessex. It was very comfortable, plenty of space and well appointed. The location and views were wonderful. We hope to come back again!
Katherine
Very comfortable cottage in peaceful, convenient location.
We have had many cottage holidays over the years and this property must rate as one of the best. Very comfortable ,clean and well furnished with everything we needed. We were only a family of four but the property can accommodate more and one plus point would be the two separate sitting/TV areas. Highly recommended
Dr S King
A lovely house in a beautiful setting, ideal for a family gathering.
There were nine of us staying in the house, including 3 children aged 7, 5 and 3, and we found it very comfortable with plenty of space for us all. The garden is a good size, with a great view, and we loved eating outside around the large patio table. We had to watch the 3-year-old on the stone steps, but otherwise the children were able to run around outside safely. The facilities were good, with everything we required catered for. The location is outstanding and very peaceful. We would certainly recommend the property.
Katie Golsby

Fantastic Place
We all loved this accommodation, it was beautifully decorated and had all mod coms. It catered for every body's needs and well and truly was an amazing place. Its was great having two living spaces and the large garden patio set in the garden was the ideal place to use for my dads 70th birthday party. There's also a BBQ area. Its set in the most tranquil area, with views of the hills at the back and sea views at the front. I certainly would recommend this place to friends and family.
Deborah Norman
Lovely house in stunning location
A spacious house with fabulous patio and BBQ area and glorious views. We were lucky to fine weather the whole week and appreciated the fact that we could walk over footpaths to the coastal path direct from the village. The house had everything we needed. One little tip for the owner - the rolltop bath is very stylish but an ordinary bath with full height shower would be more practical when the house is full. Luckily both the en suites had showers we could share. Have already recommended this property to a friend who is looking for somewhere for a large family holiday..
Rita Piper
A wonderful holiday destination.
This house is ideal for three generations to all enjoy a lovely Dorset holiday together. The facilities are great, the house looks and feels wonderful and the views are amazing. We will return as soon as we can!

Very good
We really enjoyed the house, great location, great views & comfortable. In the back courtyard we would suggest suitable gates on the stones steps leading to the grass area. Quite a danger with small children. The shower door does not close on the middle level back bedroom.Neither of these spoiled our experience & will return one day.Thank youMichael Wright
