Perfect
A lovely bungalow which was perfect for ourselves and an 88 and 93 year old. Everything there we needed. Thank you for the wine! And a green woodpecker in the garden.
Gill Burden - 02/10/2018
Fabulous holiday cottage in a great location
The property was clean and everything was organised and available. The instructions in the welcome guide were detailed and easy to follow. Wonderful idea to provide beach towels too. A lot of thought had obviously been put into making life easy for guests. The location and views were stunning. Will definitely be returning.

A spacious and comfortable family home
We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house within 5 minutes walk of Wareham centre. The walk in shower was very convenient for my elderly parents and it was helpful to have 2 lavatories. The drive was steep, as was the garden - no good for football, but there was a lovely view of the countryside beyond. The fridge freezer was a decent size and there were all sorts of kitchen pots and pans, etc. On rainy days there was plenty of space in the sitting room to play games or watch a film. However using the TV was pretty complicated! Overall we were happy with the property.
Melissa Robinson - 25/08/2018
A really nice bungalow
We loved Wareham and it was well-located for a lot of places we wanted to visit. The bungalow was a very good standard and easily spacious for all of us (six adults and two children). Having a three and a half year-old grandson (and a baby) meant we had to move a lot of jugs and tiles that could have been easily broken. The bungalow was well equipped and had everything you could ever need.
Graham Corio - 17/08/2018
Beautiful, clean and well-equipped.
5 of us (grandparents, parents and baby) had a lovely week at Little Westport. The bungalow was very clean and exceptionally well equipped. We particularly liked the blackout blind that suctioned onto our window so the baby didn't think it was daytime too early! We also enjoyed the bottle of wine and made use of the disposable bbq that was provided. Little Westport was really well located, we could walk to shops, pubs and the river. We could also drive to all of the attractions that we wanted to visit within 20 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend and hope to come again. The only thing that I think the cottage lacked was recycling facilities - it looked as though houses in the area had recycling bins but we could only recycle glass. I think people would recycle cardboard and plastic if a separate bin was available.
Laura Lloyd - 29/06/2018
Lovely cottage!
We had a fantastic week at Little Westport, which had absolutely everything we needed. So much space and light, a stunning garden, and a quiet, peaceful spot barely two minutes from Wareham's centre. We visited the area from the Midlands for the birds and wildlife, and certainly weren't disappointed! We'd definitely book the cottage again if we make another visit.
Kitty - 18/05/2018
A very comfortable and convenient bungalow
The bungalow was very clean and really well equipped. The owner has gone to lots of trouble to see that everything was there that you could possibly want. There was also an excellent folder with lots of helpful and clear to read instructions. One day it would be nice if a shower could be fixed over the bath. It is very much the sort of place that would call us back. We left a note to say that there is an ants' nest outside the patio door. The door is also quite difficult to open and we think the lock probably needs replacing.
Joyce White - 04/05/2018
Fabulous cottage in a great location.
I can honestly say this is one of the nicest, well equipped holiday cottages we have stayed in. Situated down a private lane it is very peaceful but only a 5 min walk into the centre of Wareham. After a long drive down on Good Friday, it was nice to have a few welcoming touches....tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of wine! There were clear to follow instructions for the heating, keys, bins etc...and plenty of helpful leaflets on what to do in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage and hope to be back in the future.
Paula Wainwright - 16/04/2018

Excellent
We enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage was very well equipped and my 18 month grandson was able to rush around safely without breaking anything and was well supplied with toys! The cottage was warm and welcoming and made our stay a very easy and happy one. Also a very concise list of instructions and plenty of brochures for information. The people at Dorset coastal cottages couldn't have been more helpful.
Diana Hodson - 16/10/2017
Very quiet, comfortable accommodation in a good central location.
Little Westport is in a very good position for exploring the sights of Purbeck and the general Dorset area. We had 3 generations staying here and all enjoyed the break. It is in a very quiet location but convenient for the local Wareham amenities. It is a well equipped, lovely bungalow. We liked the fact that the kitchen was quite separate to the bedrooms so that no one was woken up earlier than they wanted. Our 2 Grandchildren, aged 8 and 6 could have done with twin beds as one of them sleeps like a star fish! Would certainly stay here again.
Michael Bye - 16/09/2017
beautiful, good area
We have had a wonderful holiday in Little Westport, it isa beautiful and relaxing home. The weather was perfect. I would like to say something, we missed a book of walks in the area and what a pitty was that there was no garden furniture stood in the large garden. On the balcony was a small table with 4 chairs, while the house for 8 people. We are very pleased with the house. Kind regards Sonja Olrichs Thank you for your review and feedback, there is a further garden table and chairs stored under the balcony. Apologies this was missed.
