Perfect Location for September Walking Holiday
The weather was amazing for our stay at Froxfield in September. We really enjoyed staying here, it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location of the cottage is perfect for walking as it's so close to the Priests Way. It's a pleasant walk to Swanage or Worth Matravers and the coastal path scenery is beautiful! The local pub has good food and is very friendly too.

A well appointed cottage; comfortable and practical.
We were very grateful for the welcome things - very thoughtful. Everything was comfortable, very clean and worked. Best holiday cottage shower ever! Lovely views which isn't important but an added bonus. No problems. Two minor 'even better ifs'. Middle bedroom bed was rather creaky - not a honeymoon bed! We didn't like the diffusers. Otherwise reallt great - thank you.

A cosy well equipped cottage in a great location
We had a wonderful week in this clean, very well equipped cottage, we didn't want for anything. A quiet location, but not far from the local pub and a nice walk to the coast. Highly recommended
Marion, Richard and friends - 2019-06-25T17:39:59.0000000Z
Perfect cottagein a perfect location
Froxfield Cottage is spotlessly clean, very cosy and well equipped, there is nothing you would want that isn’t provided. The location is perfect, a walk to the shop, pub and the sea. We enjoyed wonderful weather which made it even more perfect, we would definitely like to return. Thank you very much
Michelle Heath - 2019-03-08T10:19:49.0000000Z
Lovely cottage that is highly recommended
We've stayed in several cottages in and around Langton Matravers. This is a good location, and the cottage is maintained to a high standard. It was warm, cosy and very clean. The only draw back is that if you're in the attic bedroom you have to come down two floors to use the toilet at night! We will definitely book again.

Our second visit of the year - the cottage is perfect
Here again for our second visit of the year, this time for the Vintage and Steam/Folk Festival weekend, plus the rest of the week which was great. Lots of sunshine and, as always, the cottage is perfect.

Already planning our next trip!
We’ve had a great week at Froxfield Cottage. Thank you for the welcome pack – much appreciated! The cottage is really comfortable and well equipped – you have thought of everything! Loved all the info on places to visit. Wareham Forest is fabulous, our dog loved it there. Also Arne and Durlston are really beautiful. Already planning our next trip.

A great cottage!
Lovely week in the cottage and had amazing sunny weather. Great cottage, nice and quiet but easy to access everywhere. Well stocked, clean and tidy. Added touch of bread, butter, milk eggs and biscuits, how lovely. Thank you. Can recommend Studland beaches and especially liked Shell Bay as a nice sandy beach..

A fabulous holiday! Will definitely come again
Thank you for a lovely stay in your lovely cottage. We had a fabulous family holiday here, with 2 boys (6&3). They both loved the Steam Railway, Beach, Crabbing, Durlston Country Park and also Sea Fishing. We will definitely come again, the cottage had everything we needed.

Thank you for a lovely stay!
Many thanks for a lovely stay. Very well equipped house and a pleasure to stay in. The bread etc on arrival was very welcome. Visited Brownsea, Corfe and Swanage many times. Loved the location, and a gorgeous run/walk to Dancing Ledge too. Will recommend!! Thank you.

A lovely week staying in this wonderful cottage
We have had a lovely week here and enjoyed everything – Studland Bay, Swanage Carnival (with Fireworks) and most of all staying in this wonderful cottage. The welcome pack was a great start as we arrived at the cottage very late at night – thank you. We were all so comfortable and the garden is so pretty. Thank you for a super week.

Cosy family HQ for a beautiful week in Purbeck
From the moment we walked through the door of Froxfield Cottage we knew we had found a gem (and we've rented a few times in this area). The property had an warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home - I can see why this has been a popular and much-loved holiday cottage for many years. It was comfortable, well-equipped and incredibly peaceful, accommodating four adults and two young children with ease without ever feeling crowded. The little garden also proved to be an ideal barbeque area! The location was ideal, as we could be in Swanage within 10 minutes. However you could easily forget about the car for the week and simply take advantage of all the beautiful walks (and pubs) which can be done from the house. In summary, highly recommended and we'd be happy to stay here again.
Andrew Parsonage - 2018-08-25T08:38:51.0000000Z
Good with reservation
Clean and tidy with ample equipment.Fortunately the cottage is off the road so very little traffic noise although the village gets more than its fair share of traffic through and parking on the road can be a bit hairy! We were 4(including 1 child) so bathroom facilities fine but not sure that 6 people would find it acceptable. We enjoyed the area etc so that was the main thing and would hve been a 4 if bathroom facilities bigger.
Mike - 2018-08-17T15:35:54.0000000Z
Comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage
Many thanks for helping our great family holiday take place! We loved Froxfield Cottage- comfortable and beautifully decorated, generously equipped for a family of 6 and with wonderful views of the sea from the front bedroom!
Hilary and family - 2018-07-06
A Lovely relaxing week!
The cottage is delightful, the garden a great BBq-ing spot, and the views are incredible. The weather was glorious sunshine and spent many an hour at the beach paddle boarding, swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for accommodating us for a lovely relaxing week!

Such a beautiful place!
We didn't expect the beauty we found in lovely Dorset! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with friends, surrounded by gorgeous nature, fantastic views and very nice people. We really liked the room in the roof with the lovely sea view! Thank you. We would love to come back!

Beautiful cottage, great location
We had a wonderful break, the cottage was very welcoming and we appreciated the items which were left ready for us. A good centre visits to Lulworth; Swanage; Sandbanks; Wareham. We would recommend RSPB Reserve at Arne a wonderful place with so many different habitats. We would also recommend two local hostelries, namely The Kings Arms and The Square and Compass, both full of local character. And yes we would like to come back to stay again.
Chris Chiverton - 2018-04-26T09:16:05.0000000Z
The best cottage we have stayed in.
We had a relaxing 3 night stay in this warm and comfortable cottage. The groceries on arrival were very welcome and there was a very high standard throughout in this immaculate home from home. We look forward to returning in the warmer weather so that we can enjoy the garden and local walks.

We've had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, cosy and very well equiped cottage.
We had a warm welcome in this beautiful cosy cottage, with a well equiped kitchen and lounge (books, cd's, dvd's). Beautiful and spacious bedrooms, difficult to choose which one was best. And a nice outdoor space as well.

Five star!
A great stay in your lovely comfortable house/ Thank you so much for the amazing welcome pack. Visited Studland Beach, Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens, West Bay (Broadchurch), The Square and Compass pub - pies and pints and a long walk to Winspit/St Albans Head and back, Corfe Castle, the model village (great lunch) and the Rex Cinema Wareham twice. Will be back next year.
Mr and Mrs F Norfolk - 2017-10-12T09:48:46.0000000Z
Pretty well equipped cottage beautifully presented
We stayed at Froxfield Cottage for my daughters wedding at nearby Smedmore House. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. The cottage is small but perfectly formed. There are lovely views from the upper windows and inside the cottage is well decorated and maintained. The stairs are steep and the loo is a long way from the top floor bedroom so probably not the best choice to pop granny up there but the middle bedroom has an ensuite cloakroom. The only item i could have usefully had that was missing was an iron and ironing board before the wedding, but not the usual requirements of holiday makers. The extra touches of milk, bread and butter to welcome us and a hand written card were very special.

Lovely location
A lovely comfy cottage in a perfect place to explore the Isle of Purbeck. We really appreciated the warm welcome with groceries and a kind card. The only thing we might change is that the mattresses were a bit lumpy but that might be a matter of personal taste. Thank you for a great stay.

Beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need
A stunning holiday cottage with all the trimmings you need. Excellently kitted out with a great kitchen and comfy beds, we all slept very well. We didn't use the garden as we spent Christmas week at the cottage, but the very generous owners went to lots of trouble to make the cottage very festive and welcoming. A lovely touch that delighted our 8 year old no end. Highly recommend the cottage but it a little walk from the road to the cottage down a small path which was very icy on the cold mornings.
Mike Brown - 2017-01-12T17:07:27.0000000Z
We will be back for sure!

Comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage
Many thanks for helping our great family holiday take place! We loved Froxfield Cottage- comfortable and beautifully decorated, generously equipped for a family of 6 and with wonderful views of the sea from the front bedroom!

We had the best time this week, so many amazing walks along the SW coastal path. Thank you for the endless supply of books that give a rich insight into the lives of people and the history of this beautiful part of our country.
