Spring Steam Gala – Swanage Railway
During the Steam Gala an intensive timetable of both passenger and freight trains will be operated – giving visitors the opportunity to ride behind as many of the engines as possible, as well as giving great photo opportunities.Locomotives operating during the Gala include M7 Class 30053 and U Class 31806. Attractions include: The award winning Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum (next to Norden station), goods shed museum, exhibition and cinema coach at Corfe Castle station.

The Weymouth and Dorset Music Festival is a non-competitive festival open to all musicians of all ages and abilities.
Sand World Weymouth
An amazing display of giant sand sculptures made by internationally acclaimed sculptors, mostly undercover, all weather attraction, have a go area, cafe and shop. Lodmoor Country Park, next to SeaLife, Weymouth. For all ages and abilities, parking nearby or take the Landtrain.
